About Zen Hill
Hello there.
I'm a sports broadcaster based in Washington state with broadcasting experience in baseball, basketball, volleyball and softball. I also have professional work in public relations, news writing, social media management, and content creation. I have a passion for athletics, music, outdoor recreation, and environmental awareness.
Currently, I'm studying for my B.A. in Journalism Public Relations at Western Washington University while pursuing a minor in communications and a focus in social justice.
I have worked for three years as a sports broadcaster for WWU's athletic teams and the local summer baseball team, The Bellingham Bells of the West Coast League. I have worked as a social media manager for Rebound Families, a local Bellingham nonprofit. I have also produced PR materials for the local nonprofit, Animals as Natural Therapy, as part of an advanced public relations course at WWU. I have written and edited for WWU's student newspaper, The Front, and have written for the student magazine Klipsun.
What I enjoy doing is anything surrounding sports. I enjoy playing sports like soccer, basketball, and softball. I like to call myself a campfire guitarist, yes, I know how to play Wonderwall... As a hobby I like to collect sports cards particularly players from my favorite teams but my motto is if it looks cool it deserves to be collected.
